Recent Event: BioPed

We recently had the chance to create a fun Casino event for the hard working staff and franchisiers at BioPed. This fun-loving bunch had a hard time leaving the tables--but it was the grandprize winners who had all the luck!
Also on-hand was our talented characaturist--drawing the guests participating in a variety of hobbies from football to hockey.
A fun time was had by all!

Recent Event: Mars Canada

On November 19th, Events by Parris assisted employees from Mars Canada Inc. in celebrating another great year. Our theme was Latin Fever and we certainly raised the temperature in the venue that night!The Mariachi band started off the evening with their cocktail hour show--and then led the whole crowd (members of which were still dancing!) into the main space Salsa dancers twirled through the crowd; cozy lounges create the perfect spot for coworkers to mingle; and the DJ got everyone pumped up.

What a fantastic night... Ole!!

Tip: Signature Drinks

One of my favourite things to suggest to clients is to have a signature drink. At the recent Revlon Holiday Party, bright red Revlon-tinis flowed through the crowd. The best part is you can have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions of your signature drink.Work with the colours of the party:Whether corporate or private, you can brand your event by choosing complimentary colours. You can also create a signature drink based on the theme of your party —why not a Maui-tini for your Hawaiian theme party; or a Cupid-tini for your Valentine's Day Dinner. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination!

Robyn's 40th Birthday party


The weather was our friend recently for a surprise 40th birthday party. All morning the threat of rain hung overhead—but as the guests arrived the sun finally burst through the clouds. Robyn, brought to the party under the pretence of dinner with her husband, was appropriately shocked when the doors opened to reveal 40 of her closest friends and family. The 424 was the perfect spot for this fun-loving bunch who enjoyed cocktails in the blue room, high-end food stations in the dining room, and dancing on the 2nd floor. The patio was also available for those looking to cool down from all the dancing. To add to the atmosphere, large poster-sized photos of Robyn through the years were hung throughout the space and brought much laughter to the group. A great time was had by all—Happy Birthday Robyn!
