Walking in a Winter Wonderland!
Colleagues of Trapeze Group walked in to their own Winter Wonderland last week--luckily this one wasn't in the North Pole but rather at the Airport Hilton Toronto.
The gorgeous decor made of silver snowflakes patchworked around the space, a blue snowflake light show, and lit crystal centerpieces created a cozy feel for the guests.A delicious three- course dinner was followed by a night of dancing and prize giveaways that left a lot of Trapeze-ers with smiles on their faces. Our interactive DJ created lots of hilarious moments from having the boys vs the girls competitions to couple dance-offs. Numerous fabulous prizes were given away that night!
Another huge hit at the event was the photo booth with props located just outside the main ballroom. Each session included 4 different poses with a 'Happy Holidays' logo at the bottom of each set--the best part? You got two copies--an easy way to divide between couples, or friends!
Cadesky and Associates
A characturist to capture a snapshot for each guest to take home with him/her--she drew everything from a couple on their deck in Muskoka to a gentleman who loves his football.
Those that weren't having their picture "taken" were trying their luck out at the casino tables. With 4 prizes and 1 Grand Prize to be handed out, the stakes were high and these players didn't quit until the whistle was blown. Some came with their lucky ties, others with just the luck on their back--and 5 people went home with some great surprises.
For those who luck ran out early on the casino tables the dance floor beckoned. With a request for reggae this group never took a break from the dance floor....even our Events by Parris planner was out there being taught some moves!
All in all a wonderful night was had by a wonderful group in a wonderful setting...what a happy winter wonderland!

Thomson Rogers
After the Santa pose guests were invited to sample hors d'oeuvres and to have a signature Thomson Rogers martini--it's the candy cane in the glass that gave it the extra kick! While enjoying their nibbles the guests were amazed by our professional mind reader. He wandered through the crowd providing slight of hand and inexplicable feats of mind reading. His bag of tricks wrapped in mystery caused more than one guest to exclaim 'how did you do that?!" Let's just chalk it up to the magic of the season!
While mingling with colleagues guests were invited to have their handwriting analyzed by our professional handwriting analysis person. A chance to find out what those loops and dots in your writing really mean.
Having found that out the guests moved on to the characaturist who provided a great keepsake for the day. Asking each guest for a hobby or their profession, our professional artist would create a unique portrait that can be hung in your home or office.
Once analyzed and captured in art the guests tried their hand at one of our casino tables. Whether it was roulette, black jack or poker this great group had a fun time spending their funny money for the chance at the grand prize. Who was the big winner? You'll have to ask Santa.

Lucky Roll of the Dice!
A room full of Elvis's, showgirls and other Vegas partiers had colleagues of the Toronto General Hospital-Emergency Medicine laughing and dancing till the wee hours of the morning. The casino tables, ranging from those for poker aces to those for blackjack newbies, were a big hit with this fun crew. A delicious dinner, followed by gaming and dancing got these hard working colleagues in the mood for the holidays.
Beautiful decor helped set the mood. The crystal, illuminated, feathered centerpieces made the room feel like the Bellagio. While the red accented tablecloths and decor pieces gave the room just a touch of Vegas's signature themes: fire and excitement!
After all the chips were counted 5 lucky folks walked away with casino raffle prizes that night, but all those who attended walked away from this good time feeling lucky.
