PLANNING AN AGM (ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING)

The AGM (Annual General Meeting) is an important event for every company – private and public sector. It is an excellent opportunity to give an overview of the company’s current situation, stressing the positives, discussing its financial health, and building confidence within the organization and the public. There is usually much business and annual housekeeping to be dealt with including the President’s message, election of Board members, the amendment of by-laws, the appointment of auditors, and presentation of annual audited financial statements.
